I visited the store recently to try on bridal wear and had a personal styling appointment. They had prepared and I was taken to the basement part of the store where they’d set up a changing area and a rail of clothes to try. The assistant was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Left with a prized purchase! Certainly not the brusque and haughty vibe of other stores. Really relaxed, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
After having an awful experience earlier shopping in a London department store and Hobbs, I went into this Whistles store and was immediately greeted with smiling happy and very helpful staff. One of the shop assistants, Deborah was incredible, with her help and guidance I purchased a beautiful jumpsuit. Absolutely nothing was any bother for Deborah. Deborah made my whole shopping experience in the store an absolute pleasure. She suggested various items and it wasn’t a bother to get me anything. The other girls were also lovely but it was Deborah that made my day and I left feeling very happy and forgot about my earlier “pretty woman” experiences.
We had a fantastic afternoon with Candie selecting some fabulous clothes for my daughter - nothing was too much trouble and it made the experience extremely enjoyable. Would highly recommend a personal shopping experience at St Chris Place and if you get Candie you're in for a treat!!!
I came to try on some Whistles wedding dresses today and had excellent service from Michaela. Really accommodating and friendly, and a lovely relaxed space to try on the beautiful dresses. Thank you!
I always enjoy visiting Whistles at St. Christopher’s place. The store stocks a large range of items and sizes, including petite which is great for me, and rarely disappoints. The staff and service are great too.
Milly made bridesmaid dress shopping a breeze! There was a good selection of colours and styles, we spent a couple of hours trying on various dresses and sizes, Milly was really helpful and very patient with us. We felt completely at ease and found the perfect dresses! Thank you!
A negative customer experience at this store. While waiting at the till to be served, the sales assistant on the ground floor the only person on the till was shouting aggressively up the stairs at her colleague on the first floor. Clearly worked up and causing a scene, another colleague told her to calm down. Rather than witness any further hostility, I put back my top and took my business elsewhere. It has really put me off shopping here in future.
I visited this store for a bridal appointment. The staff were really helpful and knowledgable. I liked how they were also happy to give their own opinions. Great service.
Usually enjoy going to this store and spent over a £1000 there this summer. One of the items I bought turned out to have a stain on it - I took it back with tag and receipt but unfortunately after return period asking to exchange it for an I damaged one, only to have the staff basically say I may have stained the garment myself and they had no way of knowing I wasn’t lying. I hadn’t worn it once. Completely put me off. A loyal customer treated like that. I won’t be back.
I had a wonderful experience with the absolutely fabulous Debbie! I was visiting the store with two friends and we were in search of a more reasonably priced wedding dress following a few bridal appointments with price tags that were out of my reach. Debbie made the whole experience so fun, she was so knowledgeable about alterations and went above and beyond recommending cuts and designs, getting additional sizes, and fastening up dress after dress. I cannot recommend Whistles in St Christopher’s Place enough - make sure you ask for Debbie if you visit on a Sunday!
