"Independently owned and run by Chris, Claire and family since 2016. Situated in the heart of the village on The Green, approximately a 5 minute walk from Bottom Lock on the Grand Union Canal.We extend a warm welcome to all, including your four legged friends We are a traditional wet led pub, with a fantastic range of both national and local ales, an offering of lagers, ciders, spirits and a good choice of wines.We play host to teams during the week having a pool table, darts board and traditional Northamptonshire Skittles Board. Regular entertainment and events are all updated via our social media pages.Wed - Fri from 10am - 12:30pm we have our coffee club with a range of hot drinks and locally sourced sweet treats!"

Great pub, really welcoming for a very wet tired family of 5 and a little pup! Helped us out with suggestions on where to eat and even said we could get fish and chips to bring in if it helped as the weather was so bad. Great down to earth traditional, friendly pub!
Myself and my partner popped into here last night after reading all of the reviews! The staff were friendly and it's great that the pub was dog friendly inside & out. There's a great selection of bar snacks and the drinks are reasonably priced. They also don't mind if you bring in food from the fish & chip shop which is next door. Nice atmosphere and we plan on returning soon!

Brilliant pub, so friendly and welcoming. Always a great pint, a really good glass of wine and decent bar snacks, even the dog loves a visit after a walk on a cold day. Beautifully decorated and really clean. Thoroughly recommend!

Nice friendly pub. Very dog friendly. Only a few minutes walk from the Grand union canal. 4 real ales were available when I visited. T. Taylor was in tip top condition. My retriever was treated to a dog biscuit from one of the staff, which made his day!. Highly recommended.
