Came across this lovely pub so clean. Ronnie the barmaid was very helpful and friendly. Lovely outside area and atmosphere. Even the toilets were very clean and nice. Would definitely recommend this pub. Definitely a return visit, Good selection of music in the beer garden & good people, Keep it up !!! Thank you Rachel & Ben
Nice and friendly pub, silent garden. Only ales and cider, no food.
Lovely small pub, with exemplary bar stuff. Full of locals who knew each other and had tabs open... but the atmosphere was really friendly and welcoming they were a friendly bunch. Beer was good they had local "Shere Drop" which was lovely and well kept. It was not a cluttered pub with plenty of space between furniture and a beer garden. It was a football night when we visited but the fans were friendly and not too loud.
Very pleasant evening, only problem was that one of our party was in an electric wheelchair and he couldn't get close enough to the table in the outside area because of the furniture design so had to be handed his drink all the time. Wheelchair accessibility: Quite good access to the outside area but as stated above design of outside furniture caused problems for electric wheelchair user.
Not bad, not brilliant... staff mix up drinks regularly. They must have lost the cost of at least four vodkas when I was there! And it was a chore to get the drink fixed and to get served... And the manager only seemed interested in chummying up to his favourite regulars; not thinking that some 'outsiders' might become potential regulars! Just not an overly welcoming vibe to non-regulars!!
One of the last real pubs in Ewell village. Real ale and a very friendly atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Only downside is the music played into the garden, It can be a bit loud and the taste of the staff not the clients.
Nice little place, staff very friendly and polite, inside could do with a little overhaul though a little tired and dated. But still ok. Garden is main draw in my opinion, nice and spacious with a covered area, children's play area for young children 3-6 yrs. Didn't eat here so can't comment on food.
What a little gem. Lovely old fashioned pub. Traditional wooden floor. Small bar but leaves more room for patrons to sit. Heated garden and dogs very welcome. Usual ranges of ales and lagers and on cold winter evenings it was nice to see mulled wine available. Cozy atmosphere, gets very busy. Not sure if food available. Will be going back
The ‘Clicky Regulars’ like hogging the bar when it’s busy. They prop themselves at the bar and don’t like anyone ordering over them. There should be a section of the bar you can’t sit at. Also some bar staff feel inconvenienced when you ask to turn the television on because it will mean someone will ask them to turn their music down so we can actually listen to the sport on tv. It is advertised out the front that there’s live sport. It shouldn’t mean we have to put up with there blaring 80s music. Nice beer garden though.
Small local pub, great service.Service: 5/5
