Myself and my husband stayed for the 1st time for a long weekend, everything was amazing from start to finish with our stay,we stayed in a 2 bedroom caravan, spotless, beds were so comfortable and everything we should need. The grounds within Tarn house are amazing, lovely view and well maintained. We then visited the restaurant and I have to say the lasagna there is the best I have ever tasted, it’s a must, you do need to try this, Staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you, very attentive, and very helpful. This is definitely my first but not my last visit here. Thanks very much, see you all again soon
Touring review. Pitch of a decent size, with a gravel half and a grass half. Facility block of a high standard and maintenance & cleanliness was generally decent. Hot water is consistently very hot. Washers and dryers expensive but within normal realms. Great view beyond the site of the hills to the south west?. Restaurant in the main house at the very top of the hill serving pizza and chips of a very very high quality, would highly recommend. Short walk down into town, £6 taxi back as standard it's a steep walk, and it's a lovely town.
Stayed on a touring pitch. Beautiful location. Clean and tidy. Excellent amenities and good value. Onsite bar in the 'house' is brilliant. Full of character, and super staff that only give table service. Only criticism is the dog shower area was under water due to blocked drain? Will be staying here again. 9/10
nice level pitch for our camper. amenities block for tourers are spotless. very easy to check-in, with a courtesy call on the morning of arrival to confirm pitch. now have a small shop on site for the items you've forgotten. not cheap though as cheapest bottle of red wine was a tenner. overall a very nice site which we will visit again. only price of pitch at £34 stops it being 5 stars.
Just got back from a weekend at Tarn House, staying in the new glamping pods. We really enjoyed our stay, the pod was so cosy and relaxing and the shower and toilet facilities were really close by, clean and had underfloor heating. We ate in the bar one night and would recommended the pizzas and lasagne they offer, they were delicious! Overall a great weekend and only a few minute drive into Skipton town centre!
Beautifully refurbished bar and restaurant, makes for a lovely stay at Tarn House Holiday Park. Great selection of cask ales. Hand thrown pizzas are the best ever. Great staff and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.Service: 5/5

No dogs are allowed in the bar yet there is a bowl of water outside door welcoming dogs. Unknowlegable reception person ingact useless.Very rude caravan owners in the bar who look down on children. Do not go to the park. No atmosphere
