Wood Nook Caravan Park

Great little hidden gem at the Yorkshire Dales! Small family run campsite, truly family and dog friendly! What a great place to end our holiday. Your four legged “owner” will love to run in the secured dog walk, chase a few pheasants and then freshen up in the stream! Toilets and showers always very clean, friendly and attentive service. This campsite will definitely be my base for my next trip to this area.

Even the torrential rain didn't dampen our stay at Wood Nook! To say it was a bit wet is like saying the Grand Cayon is a big hole in the ground! It poured and poured. Even the dog needed an umbrella! We found the welcome warm and was glad of the chance to buy a few supplies from the shop ... mainly beer! Surprisingly this time of year, the toilets and showers were heated by loved the music playing in there. Had a brief chance to walk a bit of the dog walk trail, which looked excellent and scenic. Next time hopefully we will get to walk more! We even had the cutest visit from a baby hedgehog! We will certainly be back to Wood Nook.

I camped for one night and was a good experience. Friendly owner and great shower and bathroom facilities. In a lovely location. Recommended and would come back for longer.

Nice site.showers great. Not many level pitches so take levelling chocks
