One of the best spoons I've visited in a while. Smashed avocado with onions and sauce with unlited hit drinks fir 3.25. Good service, filtered water, nice interior and friendly service. Small beer garden that's very close to the value for money car pary Definitely recommend and will return.
My husband and I went into this pub last week for lunch. The tables weren’t cleared or wiped clean, there was only one poor soul serving behind the bar who was meeting himself coming back. I had a hot chocolate drink which just about had the energy to crawl into the cup. When I complained about it he was very apologetic and topped the machine up. This establishment is in need of refurbishment and not very inviting. It needs more staff to clean up. We won’t be frequenting that place again in a hurry.
Enjoyed pre meal drinks here, first impression was it looked a bit odd in terms of layout having tables right by the door… however once inside we could see it was a very nicely decorated pub. As with all Wetherspoons drinks were very well priced and the app worked well with only 2 or 3 mins from order to them being received!
Was very busy but order was placed. Tables were either occupied or dirty. Asked for the table to be cleaned the table next to us was partially cleaned. Then we ordered food and drinks via the app. Food took 30 minutes to arrive which is fine but the drinks took another 20 minutes to arrive. Also paid extra for a naan bread to be then told 50 minutes later after paying that they didn't have any avaliable. Very disappointed.
Food was nice and good prices. Unfortunately our breakfast arrived cold and when we informed the staff we recieved the same breakfast back which had just been reheated in the microwave. Not good and obvious as the food which had been tried was returned with bites been taken from it.
Sadly not great. Pizza not cooked well, curry came with very underwhelming bread. Dirty cutlery and the toilets were completely disgusting not cleaned, lots of “mess” around and unable to close the stall doorsx It was quite busy but there were a lot of dirty tables too.
Good value for money on drinks but food was terrible. I had a Miners Benedict English muffin, black pudding and hollandaise sauce and ended up leaving it. The food and drinks also took a long time to arrive.
It's a Wetherspoons. It was really nice and quiet when I went in for breakfast and I needed the mellow vibes that day. Wonderful staff, cheery regulars, not much more you can ask for in all honesty
OMG, don't know where to start...Ordered taken from 2 parties at one table, first order for 2 out of 5 perons taken simply wanted to change rice to chips on curry! Told "Curry doesn't come with rice!" So ordered chips. Ordered another meal, drinks supposed to be included but not asked what drinks, person on till said "oops should have asked if you wanted drinks" as we'd already ordered drinks initially we didnt make a fuss and said its okso drink drinks down. Second order 3 out of 5 persons2 steaks, one rare one med/rarer and one burger, got the drinks offered this time rare steak arrives well done, sent back for another, comes blue and cold inside decided to eat it anyway, burger comes stone cold inside, curry arrives with rice no chips, all start to eat despite one steak still not arrived, kindly asked about remaining steak, told"sorry steak didnt go through go order another" after 4 of 5 of us finishing eating meals steak arrives. After leaving the young man who had the burger is ill being sick, he's in bed today with diarrhoea and bad stomach ache! Made complaints at the end, woman behind till storms off! Probably the worst experience eating out ever in my 47 years now looking after my son lad with burger so a day off work for me and being self employed no wages for the day! Costly, very unpleasant experience, feel very let down. Only one positive the lad who served us was making every effort and you could tell he was very embarrassed by what was happening.
Nice place. Great Pub food. Ordered on the app, so no need to go to the bar. Recommend this place.
