This place used be great. Poor service. Food always cold. It seems the only reason there are good reviews is because the company do a bonus scheme based on 5star reviews. All this does is makes the staff beg for a review. Doesn't actually make them give better service. Very disappointing. Verbally managed. This place needs more mystery shopping so the management get a better understanding of what needs to change.

First time visit, never been before and not local to area, friendly staff, nice menu selection, we had fish & chips and Yorkie Pud Wrap. Fish and chips were good, Yorkie pud wrap could have come with gravy or something just to give it a bit of moisture, but on the whole the experience was a pleasant one. If anyone thinks they are going gourmet and want to give a bad review because of food they are lost! This is a Marstons and they work off a set style in the kitchen, I have worked in places like this and you get what you pay for! For what we paid it was a good experience! Recommend.

Carvery is great! However the main menu could do with a few simple dishes like cottage pie etc for those that don't like their food over engineered. Drink selection is good.

The carvery was average as was the deserts. The mash had a strange taste, roast potatoes like cricket balls. The meats were tough and tastless. Gents toilet blocked off with a sign saying out of order with nowhere else to go, even though there must have been over a hundred male patrons the night we went. Bar girl had a strange unhelpful attitude also. A bit of a strange experience all round.

Nice place fairly busy, lots of children. Food good fish and chips,batter was crispy and light good to eat. Baby back ribs were good but the meat not falling of the bones. Had better at Panama Hattie's in Prestwich. Service was excellent. Good place to eat.
