The Crown & Liver is under new management!
They are in the process of completely removing the old kitchen and building a new one to cater for the needs of the growing customers. They recently installed a professional coffee machine and are upgrading their free Internet to super fiber, so daytime customers can have unfettered Internet access. Friday nights are now DJ nights with local DJ's providing a good mix of new and old music and Saturdays are live band nights with a growing list of named bands featured. Once they serve food a dare say this will be the local "goto" place for pub entertainment and atmosphere.

Weirdly decorated, as if someone different did each section of the pub. The staff aren't great and there's a poor selection of drinks. It looks good outside though.
