Lovely, cosy Devon pub. It has a large outdoor seating area and a nice vibe inside. Very friendly and attentive staff. We were impressed by both the variety and quality of food! This was our first time visiting this pub but we shall definitely return.
Absolute gem of a find. Arrived late but still got food, excellent burger and scampi and chips. Liked the idea of choice of French fries or fat chips. Very hidden away on very narrow roads. Would not like to drive in peak times. Also very hilly if walking.
Old Devon country pub, located in a small village with narrow winding roads. Ample car park located at the rear of the pub, with outdoor garden seating and garden room. The Bar has a good comfortable seating area and is dog friendly. The menu has a good selection of starters You got to try the Squid & Chorizo mains plenty for both the Carnivore and Vegetarian, salads and sandwiches. The food is delicious, served immediately from the kitchen and hot. The portion sizes are for a healthy appetite, but excellent value. Highly recommend the Cod & Chips and the Mushroom Pasta.

Gorgeous country pub with lovely river views. Tasty menu and good sized portions - plus caters for Vegetarians. However, a bit short on fish dishes as nothing without batter . However, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Would highly recommend
The most amazing staff ever. im touring north coast devon in post brexit britain 2021 and the service has been terrible throughout our trip, until now. Super friendly staff, active engaging, never let you go thirsty. I left a £20 tip, i suggest you do the same!!! Great food great drinks, great service, great location, enjoying 25° weather amazing.
What a great little pub! Friendly and attentive service from the second we stepped in the door! The Sunday dinner didn't disappoint either. Nothing was too much trouble with one of us been gluten free. Will definitely be returning!
A nice looking pub with lovely views of the estuary. Service was good with light hearted staff. However on our visit we found the resteraunt to be very tightly squeezed together & noisy. We had 3 courses and found the food to be of average taste.
Nice setting and garden. Great that on our arrival someone took our order from the garden table and we liked that we could order from a convenient out building in the garden. Great for kids too. However, food was very average and a bit on the expensive side. £19 for lasagne and chips and the drinks on the expensive side too.
