Have studied here previously and had no problems. However on the part time English course you are deemed to be demanding if you expect your work to be marked and are aggressive if you have a debate about the actual text. Would not recommend. If you do go then do not pay for it yourself. Even if the teacher isn't up to mark you won't get compensated!

On many occasions i requested a college email and was told we would receive one in the new year. By the new year they said we would get it next year. Honestly shocking and unprofessional. A student email is required to get office and word for free and for verification that your a student. I have now had to spend a heck load on office when I should be able to access it free as I’m a student. When applying for a course there is not enough detail in the course description. I applied for a makeup course and was then told during the commencing of the course that we had to do hairdressing and photography as well in order to pass. It has also been apparent that some of the staff/ lecturers are very clique like with well known students. If there is ever an issue in a class it is not resolved, leading to some students leaving the course. The staff could clearly not care less about their students education.

It's a shame that you have to give a star rating because this place most definitely doesn't deserve one! This place is an absolute shambles. I was bullied by my lecturer for months on end, he didn't read any of my assessments, questioned my mental ability to do the course and even refused to write a reference for my uni application because he felt I wasn't able to do it. No point in complaining and taking it further because its all old pals act and NOTHING gets done and no one listens or gives one iota! I learned that several people before myself had been bullied by this same lecturer and never complained or took the matter further and I have since found out that there are still students who are experiencing this even after I have complained. I took this issue right up to the ombudsman who did sod all and this man is still a lecturer at college. It's a joke and I would never recommend this college to anyone. Lecturers don't treat you like adults and feel they can bully and patronise you on a regular basis.

Went here on an evening course and thoroughly enjoyed it! Facilities were fantastic. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere wasn't too intense either. The focus was on not only learning, but applying what we had learned. I learned and retained a lot more than I expected to when I booked my course, and that's all down to the attitude of my lecturer. Thank you!!
