Again, fascinating to work with West London College yesterday. nnSo many broad courses and qualifications makes teaching and learning incredibly complex.nnOver 20,000 students nnThe staff worked REALLY hard on some difficult concepts It was a privilege to work with the staff. Thank you to the wonderful teaching and learning team for organising an epic day of professional learning for staff at West London College. Delighted to play a small part …nn#TTkitCPD #GuideToMemory #GuideToQuestioning
rubbish college, staff working in this college seem to be all illiterate, useless and stupid. I have requested a copy of my certificate and they have been back and forth with emails, and have not send me the copy of my certificate. how do stupid people get hired to work in a college! did these people all came from the jobcentre after not getting a job anywhere else for years?!
WLC is located near Baron's Court Station and Hammersmith Station in London. It's also close to West Kensington and Shepherd's Bush, making it easier to rent a house at a relatively lower price than downtownnnLondon. London Heathrow Airport, downtown London, Wimbledon, and New Malden, where many Korean restaurants are located.nnWLC's overall facilities and school system are old, but professors' passion for teaching is far behind any other school.nnThe students enrolled in the EFLCELTA? are from various countries, including Italy, France, Spain, China, Romania, Uruguay, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Israel etc. Therefore, it is easy to get close to students from various countries and enjoy various activities.nnMost of the equipment used in class is old and classrooms are not modern, but the enthusiasm of some teachers is excellent.nnIt's good to learn English and improve your English skills. However, the number of orthodox English teachers among ELS teachers is somewhat insufficient.nnThere are no dormitories operated at the WLC school level, so you have to find a house for yourself.nnBut the school's International Students Office actively counsels students so that they can get a house.nnThere is a cafeteria in the school, so you can use it cheaply, but the menu is not diverse. The library is also operated, but it does not stop students from chatting and chatting in the library, and the staff in the library often makes more noise, such as talking louder.nnWLC needs systematic improvement to improve the quality of the class.nnSome EFL teachers are passionate about class, but some are considered inadequate. In particular, teachers such as Sarah and Nick, Meena teach very passionately and try to communicate and communicate with students. I was touched by their efforts.nnI can give 3.5 out of 5 points for the overall evaluation of this school.nnWLC also operates exam preparation courses to enter Cambridge University and IELTS.nnI think the tuition is cheap among the public colleges in downtown London. If you want to learn English at a public college at a low cost in London, it would be good to choose WLC.nnHowever, I think schools need more efforts to improve the level of EFL teachers, improve treatment of teachers, and improve classroom facilities.nnI think that WLC also need more school-level promotion of EFL and to provide a network and a variety of activities for students from various countries to enjoy their London life more.nnIf I have another chance to live in London and improve my English, I would like to choose WLC again.
The teachers for the Carpentry course are fantastic. Enda Mulloy was extremely supportive of my son. He noticed when things were too easy/ too hard and adapted the provision and choices accordingly. The teaching assistant, Shahim, is knowledgeable, helpful and personable. All the teachers of this course understand challenges that teens face and have high but realistic expectations. They will liaise above and beyond the call of duty with students, and also parents where appropriate. Opportunities were given for work experience and support to find employment after completing the course. Highly recommend this course at WLC. I would also like to shout out Malcolm Lloyd-Jones, the English teacher at WLC. He is incredibly diligent and caring. Thank you all!
I studied on Hairdresser Level 2 and Abigail Mansaray was my teacher. She's really helpful teach me cutting technique, coloring and it was really important for me, she provided clear knowledge of coloring to use Wella products. She is a brilliant teacher and I'm really happy at the end of my study in the West London Hammersmith and Fulham College.nThank you very much Abigail.
