Lovely cute reopened Tap Bar with a good selection of Real Ale, Craft beers, wines and spirits. Friendly knowledgable staff and good vibe. Music nights and a cozy beer garden.
Great beer choices. Outside seating - hanging baskets were lovely but needed watering! Free sandwiches while football was on screen was a nice gesture. V friendly pub and pleasant bar staff. Great local for us!
A lovely little local pub that we went every night when visiting Lincoln. Would definitely recommend, wish this was my local pub! Lovely outside area and great seating as well. The staff were really friendly and remembered your faces - which being from Manchester us something I've never experienced before!
When it comes to your local pub you can find something quiet, or homely or family-centric with a short browse of the map; but if you want a welcoming destination, with heart, vigour and a great selection of drinks served by people who know their pours, the West End Tap is second to none in Lincoln. Great live music, excellent location just outside of the city centre and management that understand what pubs could be before chains took over the high street. Cannot recommend more.
Best beer selection in Lincoln. Cosy friendly cool non pretentious and the best bar staff. Lovely landlord to boot. Live music and a top little outdoor area. One not to miss!
Amazing pizza night tonight at the west end tap. A great way to meet people in the community. And pizza was great!!! Beer are fantastic and staff so friendly. Took my dog and she loved it too xx
The new owner has absolutely put this place on the map for students! He is incredibly lovely and charismatic and makes the pub a place where you actually want to be. A lovely, entertaining little place, and well worth a visit now!
Great local pub with a wide selection of interesting beers that is always changing. Always well kept and lines frequently seen to be being cleaned. Great service from the friendly staff and it's a friendly crowd that frequent on the whole.
I made the trip up to Lincoln to see a friend, its my second time in the city but my first at this pub. It was a horrible 6.5 hour journey in the pouring rain so I was very glad to arrive. I was promised a trip to the local and that's the first thing we did. I was impressed. The staff are very friendly and they have a huge selection of drinks on offer. I am a fan of real ale and Belgian beer so I couldn't wait to get stuck in a try a few. They have dark, brown, amber, pale, blonde, Trappist, Lambic including many fruit types, ciders, wine and spirits. The pub clientèle is a friendly mix of all ages with no particular core demographic. We came back later that evening before starting our night out as its only walking distance from the main town, clubs and several restaurants. The next afternoon after shopping we came back and there were several bands on and a BBQ in the courtyard. The pub was in full swing and the large crowd made good use of the space in the traditional sized pub but if you're lucky you can duck away from the crowd for a moment into the snug! The décor is fairly traditional with a modern clean twist. I would definitely recommend this pub to anyone.
Great pub with a nice selection of guest beers and on tap, perfect atmosphere and the occasional bit of incredible live music. Would recommend to anyone
