Bar and restaurant just off the main drag in Lincoln city. Large and spacious, multi level, serving a huge range of tap and pump beers, spirits and wines. Offers a large menu of classics with loads of special offers and events. We went on Wing Wednesday which meant wings were only 30p each in any quantity with your choice of flavours! The wings were top notch; decent size, juicy and plenty of flavour. Can't wait to come back and try some more. Plus it had a pool table! Highly recommended.
We had our dogs with us and we were recommended The Mailbox, good for dogs and very good food and ale. It certainly was. George was really pleasant and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The sharing platter was amazing good variety and excellent value. l also had a side of macaroni cheese. Would certainly return if back in Lincoln
Great pub restaurant with great decor and friendly staff. Has a pool table, tvs on sportsand beer Garden. We had lunch and the prices and table availability was great. Would recommend for a more modern pub lunch experience. No parking at the venue but public parking close by with some free 30 min parking near by in near by streets.
Fantastic eating and drinking experience in the city. I am reluctant to write this because I want to keep this place to myself. If you like a daytime drink, a night time party, and a decent meal. Been in a couple of times now , the food is tasty and quick to appear, it’s clean and not ageist. Burgers are good and so is the big breakfast £6.25 !! enjoyed the beer and cocktails.
we came for the weekend, for rag and bone man, popped some shopping found this beauty of a pub , gorgeous food, great staff ! and then went into the garden omg,, amazing , deffo be back on our next visit thankyou
Visited last night for a work night out and the whole night was absolutely spot on! Food was amazing and service was fantastic the whole team couldn’t of been any more helpful and nothing was ever an issue! Ronnie doing the Monday quiz was brilliant and thoroughly enjoyed it! Special mention to Hollie as she was brilliant and a credit to the pub! Would absolutely return and definitely would highly recommend to anyone
Used to be better than it is now. For a double spiced rum and coke I think I paid north of £8 and the food has gone up a fair bit too. May be a sign of the times but it's put a few of us off going when you don't feel like you're getting more for your money.
I have been to the mailbox a few times in the past the menu has changed a bit but its still very good value for money and the food is tasty and portion sizes are decent. Friendly staff good atmosphere.
With the high tables and lighting its more of a bar feel than a pub here, but still a relaxing spot for a drink and a great atmosphere. The staff behind the bar are friendly and fast with the service and it’s nice to see such a range of drinks as well as cocktails on tap. Everywhere is clean and there’s some good booth style seating for larger groups. There’s plenty of screens as well as a large projector for keeping up with the sport and it’s a nice spot in the centre of the city; I’d happily return.
