went away for three weeks -m came back and my car towed - took me three days to find a number to get it back - cost me £105 and £12 a day storage - no contact number at all . You call the councils number and no one can help - or you go through 9 different options and the voice mail is full - surely you know if you tow a car its someones lively hood and you would be ready to help not make more money by making it imposable to get the car back. You have to give it to dorset council they are consistent unorganised, bad business managers, communication diabolical and no common sense.
I’ve had a really positive experience with the Licensing Team at Dorset Council. They have been very helpful, friendly and quick to respond to my enquiries. Communication was always clear and professional, and I really appreciate the support I received. Thank you for the great service.
I just spoke to such a lovely and helpful woman on the phone. I didn't catch her name but she seemed to capable and reassuring and provided all the information i needed regarding council procedures.
Driving round Weymouth, Dorchester and Portland right now feels like a daily survival test. Every morning I head out for work wondering if today’s the day a pothole finally writes my motor off. Some of these things aren’t potholes, they’re craters. Lakes in the road smashing alloys, wrecking suspension and forcing you to swerve like an F1 driver just to stay alive.nnI’m on these roads constantly and I haven’t seen a single Dorset Highways crew fixing any of it. For the ridiculous council tax we all pay, it’s embarrassing. Feels like the only thing getting maintained properly is the biscuit supply in the office.nnSort it out Dorset Council. Get in the vans and get grafting!
