The ONLY Roman Town House excavated and fully on display in the whole of the U.K. The display boards are great and the guide book worth buying from the nearby Dorset County Museum. There is a Guided Tour with numbered stops that you can dial up from your Mobile Phone and listen to on speaker while wandering around. It’s very informative and well worth the fee. Wouldn’t it be amazing if the Charles Street Bath Complex got the same treatment rather than being stuck under a car park!

It's a great piece of history, otherwise it'd be 0 stars. Not maintained. Dirty. Trip hazards such as a hose pipe on ground. Lights not working. No information. Hidden and clearly not loved. Absolute shame as such great opportunity to learn.

Bit of a strange one this. It's in the middle of a built up area, next to some council offices!. All the signage is back to front from the way you walk in?. The roman mosaics itself is in a very nice building. Which means you can't get a very good look at it. But this is probably for the best as the site seems to be frequented by the local youths. The roman mosaics itself is awesome, just a very strange site.

Once I found the Roman Town House I found it very interesting. There are pictures giving lots of historic information about the place at the entrance. Well deserve a visit.

Doesn't cost anything so you might as well have a quick look at it, quite interesting to think there were houses here thousands of years ago.
