Our first visit a week or so was amazing. We received good quality, tasty food albeit quite overpriced for the very small portions. We enjoyed it though so today we returned & I was charged £8.49 for a chicken avocado salad & £2 for extra chicken; the problem is - there was no extra chicken on it, no avocado at all, no bacon at all & no cheese at all! It was a tub of lettuce leaves with a tiny bit of tomato and small amount of chicken! Absolutely shocking considering they charged £10.49 for it! The baconator fries also had very little cheese or bacon on them. It’s safe to say we won’t be returning now.
Food was fantastic start to finish, The burger is just like five guys quality but better and half the price! Fries was perfect with skin on and refillable drink is always a plus.nnAs the restaurant has just opened expect the queue to go out the door or drive through around the whole car park but the wait is worth it!
We have been looking forward to coming here and finally finding the time we took ourselves over.nnJust not the standard of anything you would expect from a new establishment,nThe floor is filthy, the counters and tables to, there's food and sauce on the floors and no staff is making any effort to clean, just all in the kitchen socialising,nI would normally allow things to slide when its busy but it was pretty empty with only 4 tables with guestsnnBut the staff didn't leave the chicken to rest or squeeze the chicken and upon biting it hot oil sprayed on my face and cloths burning my mouth also.nCompletely spoilt it for me and seriously dangerous
So what's all the fuss about you ask ? Well let me tell you a little. Is Wendy's worth a visit ? My answer is upto you. It's a busy place and kept clean and looks modern.nThe food? Well the chicken nuggets taste like a cheap chicken burger you get in any chippy in the country. The burgers we got the double dave and you can add or takeaway what you want, I took off the gherkins as not my favourite but kept everything else on. You get two meaty burgers cheese lettuce onion tomato, you also get mayo popular brand 57.nSo no special sauce or Wendy's sauce ect, the meaty burgers taste ok and put in a silver wrapper to keep heat in.nNot chargrilled either which was a little disappointed. In my view it's a cheaper version of 5guys. Is it in my favourite list probably not, I grew up on wimpy burgers and still regard these as the best ever. I'd go to burger king allday before Wendy's . I'd deffo avoid the chicken as it tastes cheap but the burgers are OK just.......
The new Wendys open in Liverpool it has amazing taste of Burger And frosty ,the staff is very good. Amazing quantity and quality. Perfect example of Cleaning and taste. I wanna go there again.
