Visited Monday lunch, great little cafe for a quick bite. Good range of choice for food and drinks, although reduced today due to only having one member of staff. Nice atmosphere as right on the canal and walk around Little Venice. Wheelchair accessibility: Steps onto the boat
Beautiful place with lots of potential, but the service could be improved. Despite only four tables being occupied out of eleven, we were served a £4 very tasty cake in takeaway packaging due to a lack of plates. The coffee, which I wanted to enjoy in house, was also served in a takeaway cup because the “barista” misheard my order and unfortunately, it didn’t taste great was awful tbh Young lady needs a new job. She shouldn’t work there. Sometimes it’s not just about what you serve, but how you serve it. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere, though. Hoping to visit again in a year, hopefully with new staff, otherwise I can’t recommend it at the moment.
Wow! It’s a cafe on the water ! I like the feeling of having an afternoon tea on board! Although the build-in kitchen makes inside less airy and smoky, you could get a seat at in front of the boat to get a semi outdoor feelings or simply come out under the sun ! love it !
Muy agradable! A very nice place to eat/ have breakfast or brunch and coffeeFood: 5/5
The young lady on the till should definitely find a different career path as customer service isn't her strong suit. We ordered cream tea for two, it was not busy and waited 20 minutes for it to appear. One tiny pot of jam and one tiny pack of clotted cream for both scones both of which fell apart when cutting them open with the one knife we had been given, then had to gonand ask for butter. Don't know if was just a bad day, but wouldn't go back.
Some hearty sandwich melts, omelette dishes, soup and Jack potatoes available to choose from. Lovely to sit at the terrace facing the water on a sunny day. If not, stay indoor and avoid the drizzle and still enjoy the serendipity of the water and watching the ducks.Food: 4/5
such a nice terrace seats to enjoy the sunshine that finally came in May! the tables in the boat are also adorable, lots of sunlight getting through big windows and roses on them. the coffee and banana bread was just okay.Recommended dishesCoffee and Cake
I hate leaving bad reviews so apologies in advance but this place disappointed me just too much. Apart from the really high prices, the food is really unacceptable with deeply butter soaked white bread and the cheapest quality food I have tasted in a long time at a cafe. And your standard pantry-looking mug and cutlery too… I love the idea of a boat cafe, but the quality of food here was truly terrible. Granted, maybe the idea was to have a ‘greasy spoon’ style cafe but I still think a little less bitter and a bit nicer ingredients would make all the difference
Unfortunately the service is gormless, and that's being kind. I've been on multiple occasions and I always think it could be so much better if the owners actually cared about how the place was run. Sure, keep the costs high, but the food quality needs to improve and the staff have to pull their fingers out and work for their livings like the rest of us.
Very nice experience. The place is on a boat in Little Venice, with very beautiful environment. The foods are delicious and service is friendly.Food: 5/5
