Riverside Tea Rooms

We have driven past this place for the past 10 years and have always said we will stop. Today being my wife's birthday we went here for breakfast. The food was delicious and brought to us quickly and hot. The staff were all lovely and chatty it made the whole experience great. We will definitely visit again

These tea rooms overlook one of the most picturesque settings in the area. It is conveniently on the South Downs Way Trail, meaning that we stopped here after a long and tiring walk. The menu items are very expensive, however they are delicious and what you would expect from a classic tea room. Their afternoon tea is one of the nicest items, and even though it isn't as much as you would get elsewhere for the same amount of money, it is still tasty and worth it. The staff are nice, however service can be slow depending on how many people are in the tearoom. I would recommend exploring the surrounding area if you have just popped in to eat, because the walks around the tearoom are beautiful.

Fantastic Traditional English Tea Room. Warm Scones, jam & cream or wonderful selection of home made cakes. Also serves lunches. Alongside the river Arun, beautiful site, with happy, helpful staff. My very favourite afternoon tea stop.

The food, coffee, service and ambience of this restaurant are all excellent. Its position by the river couldn't be better and it was well worth the trip. Stunning.

We like this place. Good food and cakes. Can be a bit pricey but when the weather is clement the river view is really relaxing. Been a few times and will always come back again.
