Outstanding venue. Impeccably clean and cross spacious. A good amount of seating with all staff being very friendly. I was served quickly, and the food & drink was perfect. Not too busy in my Thursday visit, I guess weekend are their busiest. Car park is shared with Travelodge opposite and has limited spaces. I would suggest getting there by foot or public transport. I'll certainly visit again when next in the area. 10/10.
After a very enjoyable meal the previous evening we decided to go to the Watermill again for breakfast. It was delicious and again the staff were friendly! We were lucky enough to be attended to by the same waitress as the night before. So once again a very pleasant trip away and being right by the canal where it is child and dog friendly it was just perfect!
The pub was very well presented some tables need maintenance, food was as expected for a pub environment. The service at 7pm was very slow and disorganized. I don't think it's a shortage of staff as the pub was not that busy. It was more a lack of supervision and the speed of the staff. Breakfast on Sunday was much better and excellent service.
Lovely pleasant atmosphere, delicious food. All staff very attentive, polite and friendly. Child and dog friendly. Lovely spot by the canal. Beautiful building and setting. Canalside dining/seating. Both evening meal and breakfast delicious.
Quick Sunday evening visit, I really like atmosphere and design in this pub so beautiful you can relax and admire the views as soon as you sit down either inside or outside, outside sitting area at the back of the pub is beautiful. We ordered: prawn cocktail, Sunday roast, and Cowboy burger it was nice.
