I regularly use this chip shop but was very disappointed with both the chips and the service tonight. The lady serving had a really bad attitude and no customer service skills. She reminded me of a Mardy teenager. The fish was freshly cooked as usual but the chips were over cooked and cold as if they had been left from lunch time. Shame really because it's usually the best fish and chips in town. ☹️☹️☹️

Used to be really good, not anymore. Service is crazy slow and standards have slipped. Food not as good as it used to be, service not as friendly. This week they gave me illegal tender in my change. Won't be going back again. After telling their customers about my experience on their Facebook page the boss, Gregg, tracked me down to my workplace to pay me a visit! Now, if he'd come to apologise for the poor experience and listen to my feedback I would have been impressed. Instead he refused my handshake and apparently came to accuse me of being a drunk and ban me from his shops. He did in fairness give me a legal tender £1 coin for which I thank him. My FB profile is nothing to do with my business and not linked in any way so for him to make sufficient enquiries to find where I work is pretty creepy. If you're reading this Gregg, I don't intimidate easily, you'll have to try much harder next time., UPDATE: They are trying to have my 100% factually correct Trip Adviser review taken down. I will of course re-post it if that happens, as I will if they try to have this review removed too. Every company has a right to reply and I'd love to see if his wife tell me I'm wrong about my experience in the same way she has done with every other negative piece of feedback they've had. If you really want to be great listening to your aggrieved customers and acting in a timely manner is the best way to do it. Don't write them off as cranks and ban them (which you have done more than once.) Those people, who have bothered to complain, are more honest and will give you better insights into your business than those who just don't come back and tell their friends instead. Of course, winding up someone who is prepared to take the time to complain can have disastrous consequences. You know where I am Gregg, I'll leave an open invitation for you to come and see me and I'll put the kettle on, but this time be prepared to listen. You have issues in your Kidderminster shop whether you want to believe me or not.

The only 'plaice' their food should go is the nearest toilet. At least we have a way to kill off those bloody sewer rats now
