I went to this surgery with my son who is 20months old. His appointment was at 16:10 Friday 27th October. He is unwell and the doctor wanted a urine sample, which he said to bring back to the surgery. I asked if he meant today and he said yes, so I asked him to confirm what time the surgery closed as the is no way to make a 20 month old pee and my son had drunk almost nothing all day. The doctor told me they close at 19:00. As I left the receptionist gave me a sample bottle to drop in on Monday morning for collection, so I asked her to confirm this with the doctor as he stated he would test it himself. I waited for the doctor to finish with his next patient and the receptionist went in to the him to confirm if my understanding of the doctors instruction was correct. The receptionist returned and confirm that I was right, and gave me a different type of sample bottle. It took until 18:10 to get the sample from my son after which we returned to the surgery immediately, it is a 5 minute drive from our house. When I arrived the surgery was all locked up. The receptionist eventually answered my knocking only to apologise that the doctor had gone, her colleague stated that he always goes at 17:30. So here we are worrying about our son and extremely disappointed that this surgery has messed us about with an unwell toddler in such an appalling way.

Personally the staff is kind and helpful. You can make appointments online :)

The good doctors ave retired. The staff have an attitude problem.
