Great place to drink or dine. Friendly staff. Hats off to Martin for keeping the prices low and looking after the working class. He looks after us so we back him up and keep coming back and searching for his pubs where ever we go.... Oh and the coffee is to die for and not Costa bomb prices
A very good place for a catch-up.. Bit crowded when I was there.. Outdoor seating is quite enjoyable with the view.. Food was reasonably good..
Burgers were yummy and a good price Drink is included in the price with free refills on tea and coffee If weather is nice its lovely sitting outside Defo visit again
A fairly standard Wetherspoons pub with food. Separate entrance and exit with more adult customers than the usual clientele. Little evidence of tables being wiped done after each customer. Food pretty standard fare. Close to canal with outdoor seating. Hand sanitisers near entrance and toilets. Social distancing practiced.
Stay at the Copthorne hotel over the weekend. Do a bit of fishing at the waterfront in the day.. And a blast at night time. Great friendly atmosphere
A little bit grubby but the large breakfast was bang on. Piping hot and cooked to perfection.
Too much hassle with covid-19 precautions. Tenth lock handles things much better and is safer.
Well protected, food great. Service great.
