Great food, friendly staff and they have a vintage jukebox! How cool! Place needs a cleanup and touch-up. It's looking run down and the mens room had an odd aroma. But, my hot dogs were on point, my friends chicken sandwich was devoured with compliments and the fries were great! Yes, I'll eat here again and I hope for their success to improve the restaurant.
THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITALIAN BEEF OF MY LIFE. BEWARE!!!! Today, based on a relatively good rating I stopped at this place to order something fast to eat, and my choice was the Italian beef. The amount was 8.00 plus taxes I gave my credit card for payment. Unfortunately, this place is run without a cash register, so you don't see what is being charged. After my credit card was charged, the woman running the store suggested I not take the receipt. I told her sorry lady, I need to know what is being charged. To my surprise, I found only the amount of 83.61 dollars without specifying any ordered items. The sale was charged as the mail order, which does not require the customer's signature, so I am 100% sure that the charge was not a mistake but a theft attempt by the store. There was no embarrassment or apology. My monies were returned to my credit card. The second receipt was 9.09. without any specification of product plus tax and to my surprise, this time the receipt had my name printed and required my signature. Company has the right to add 3.5 % so called processing fee, but it is nowhere stated in the location, so I consider this additional fee as illegal.
I got the flank steak sandwich on garlic bread. Holy cow want a great sandwich! Meat was cooked perfectly. Fries were cold and salted perfectly. The pickle was great too. I love this place!
Half the mozzarella sticks were hollow. I heard the one cook say to the person serving them if she overcooked them. Then proceeded to put into a paper bag which stuck to the cheese that was melted out of them. I asked for a styrofoam container to try and conserve heat since they would be ice cold by the time I got where I was going. The marinara sauce also didn't have too much flavor. There is a few other items I may try in the future. But definitely not getting cheese stick again.
My dad used to go here all the time back in the day, so it was a nice treat to go with him here. I love the food and the atmosphere of the place!
So there was a lot of negative reviews about the smell and heat and they were right. Did not smell great and it was pretty hot. If not for that I would of given it 5 stars. But the service and food was awesome. Service was very friendly and helpful. We ordered Gyro Combos and the fries were incredible and fresh, Gyro was huge and very flavorful. Could of used a little more tsatzki sauce but other than that it was great. We sat outside at a little table and had a wonderful meal!
Bought a half pound Cheese Burger. Fries with Cheese and small soda. $17.35 The Burger a frozen patty The Cheese in the Burger $1.20 I get it inflation. However make sure you charge properly for bad food. Go down the street to Goodis. Way better than this place
Reasonably priced however the food lacks attention to detail with frequent encounters of dry gyro meat or in this case, barbecue chicken that was overly burnt and lacked barbecue. Consider visiting Nick's Drive In 15 minutes south of here to see how a gyro here and a gyro there compares and you'll see why its worth it to pay that extra dollar at Nicks.
Wow, have their prices gone through the roof! I've eaten on and off at this fast food restaurant for over 25 years. New owners have recently taken it over. Got a skirt steak sandwich and it cost me over $21 with a drink. That's crazy! I understand prices have gone up in all areas, but I won't be going back there again anytime soon. YIKES
Been eating here since I was a kid. The food quality and service has been the same for decades. I do love that they always bring in healthy meals to their menu as time and people change what they eat.
