Have been going to this vets for the last 5 years and they’ve been brilliant with our two Labradors, one has a thyroid issue and the other has allergies and glaucoma so plenty of regular checks and various medications Big thank you especially to the lovely Pam and Sue who organise our many appointments and prescriptions through the year. They’re fantastic at resolving any issues we have quickly and they always remove any stress or worries I have!
I always find the staff at both the surgeries I have been to pleasant and helpful. Most of our appointments have been on time and sometimes earlier when we've arrived early. Vets and receptionists are always friendly and give great advice.
Great service and attention to customers. Of the three locations in the practice it’s the best one. Expensive, but all vets are, it’s the staff that make a difference.

After making the most difficult.decision of my life on the 17th November,I wasn’t sure what do do with misseys ashes until I spoken to my son,I was told at the time what would happen to her,I arranged to phone later that day after consulting my son i made that call,was reassured she would be scattered at the crematorium and we were both happy with that decision,yesterday the 22nd of November I get a phone call asking me what I wanted to do with my best friends ashes,if the whole experience wasn’t bad enough it all had to be dragged up again,I praised them at the time for there compassion but now I realise now they are not companionate at all,it’s just about the money,rest in peace MISSEY
The pet plan is good monthly cost and they are always very friendly when I walk in. So far so good
All about money for them. Did a great job of cutting my dog’s nails but quotes a £1500 starting price for potential dental work. Nurse took dog out of room for less than a minute supposedly to see a vet, but had anA4 print out estimate in her hand on her return. Explaining to the vet would have taken longer than that. Then she told me she could give me some soft food- no give about it! Indecent way to behave. Got a second opinion and she is not in pain and has some potential issues long term but there is no urgency and no way of knowing what might be until she is out. He also said she was too podgy for the procedure as it was not urgent. So they were also happy to risk my old dog not waking up.
Being registered with my 2 dogs at the Anchor Road Practice, I’ve always found the receptionist, nursing staff and veterinary surgeons so helpful. My thanks to Aaron who performed surgery on one of my dogs. Found him very professional and kept me informed throughout my dogs procedure.
We’ve been bringing our dogs here for years, the staff are just fabulous. Can’t recommend this veterinary practice enough.
I rang up as an emergency and i was slotted in immediately which surprised me especially as i wasn’t registered with the practice. Cannot thank them enough for the service i received and would highly recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a professional service
