We had a very bad experience with our 15 year old dog had to put down due to an abdominal cancer The vet took over an hour to put in a line to administer the drugs in which time our dog became very distressed, she tried at least 4 times and each time didn’t have a new cannula with her so the whole thing took another 20minutes for her to find equipment again . She died been held down by the vet & nurse . Both my daughters & our wanted a dignified death for our beloved dog .This was not it . To be fair the vet nurse tried to support the failing vet and comforted us , she was compassionate. We heard telling the vet want to do outside the room & telling basically to get her act together in a very strong manner. When I later went into collect our dogs ashes I told another nurse how awful our experience had been and we would be changing to another vet , nobody ever came back to us ! This visit was the final straw for us . After seeing a different agency vet at this practice over the last yrs each time we visit , there is no continuity & little care . Trying to get prescription for our elderly dog was so complicated . We feel let down and this practice had definitely deteriorated in the last year , we have been with them for 5 years plus . The practice had the chance to come back to us & didn’t . The only reason I am placing this review is so that another family can hopefully avoid the awful end of a beloved pet we had . We are experienced dog owners and have unfortunately had to have other dogs put to sleep but never experienced it as bad as this before . Rest in peace Pearl

My xl went in for neutering here after other vets failed him. He’s a strong boy with a big personality & they handled him so well & done everything on his terms so he was as comfortable as he could be in a stressful situation. Thankyou so much!
Amazing vets! my dog is now 3 and for years we have been working on his reactivity as he can be scared easily and becomes very nervous. We moved to manor vets just after he turned one, as we weren’t getting on else where and i was instantly amazed at how calm and understanding they were of him, they worked around him to make him feel as comfortable as they can during check ups & any booster vaccinations. Had a great visit recently and my dog didn’t react once, was wonderful to see!
We have two dogs both recently registered with the Manor Veterinary Surgery. Can’t fault the service provided. The reception staff are efficient and polite. The vets have been superb, giving us time as well as providing a friendly, caring approach towards our pets. Based on our experience I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.
They have shown nothing but care for my cocker spaniel. All staff have been extremely polite and helpful, explaining everything to us and asking lots of questions to get the full picture. Thanks to their efficiency they manged to spot and remove mammary cancer on our girl and remove it before it got bad.
Always approachable and helpful. Friendly and professional veterinary team. Clean and bright premises. Our many pets over the years have attended different veterinary clinics but we've found this is by far the best. Would recommend them.

Manor vets are the only vets that I trust to look after my animals. I have been going there for nearly 30 years. We was seen by a different vet today Ivan, first impressions of him are very good he took his time to put my mind at ease and he genuinely cared about my dog Luna. It is always easy to get an appointment and they won’t rip you off they only do what is best for your pets. They listen to your needs and wishes and accommodate them. Hope I get a discount now as I have written such a glowing review .
I could not get an appointment with my own vet for weeks, I have used them for 9 years. Manor vets saw my dogs straight away and explained/issued the treatment, with a follow-up in 2 weeks. I felt my dogs are in good, safe hands and the vet spoke to me on a level. I would throughly recommend them.
