Very good for walking about
This is a lovely peaceful place , the wildlife is amazing
Fantastic woods to take dogs for off the leash walks, and kids so soak up fresh air. There are a couple of bigish fields ideal for football, picnics, etc. At the top end of the woods there is a door into Richmond park.
The new children's playground is a death trap!!! It's in a confined area so the swings unavoidably kept knocking over children walking past. The climbing constructions are inaccessible to adults in many parts which is very dangerous especially when made of rope that could get caught around a child's neck.
Lovely place for dogs walking,or just for a kids to play or watch the cricket-as well as as go from there to the Richmond cemetery and many others options to be discovered :
This is a lovely walk out of Richmond Park up to East Sheen. Really beautiful wood land and a lot of birds and nature, but the main path is quite secluded, but used by dog walkers and other ramblers. The main path runs parallel to East Sheen Cemetery and makes for a lovely walk when you come out of Richmond Park. Good exercise and lovely surroundings.
Local common in which kids go to play and climb trees and people walk their dogs. There is also a tennis club there.
I love to ride my bike through the trees, the only thing that ruins it is dog walkers letting there dogs loose, they should just be allowed to go on the main paths. It's hard to find good fast mountain biking in this area.
Has a large open cut field where families can picnic and play, quite a dense woods with various paths that is very popular with dog walkers
The Cricket Colts Coach Tony n his team are just fantastic. It's a great place for kids and parents who r cricket lovers snd like to get into the county circuits or just have some fun. We can strongly recommend them. They were brilliant with our son. He loved every moment of it. Just walk in have a chat with them. They r there most of the summer
