A lovely place to go for a walk or run. There's a mix of trails and habits. There's 2 carparks both with plenty of space.
Everyone needs to experience the Common. Calm, beautiful natural area, take in that oxygen supplied by the greenery. You can clear your mind and explore nooks and crannies, good for photography, picnics, hiking, running and riding your bike. We have dogs and to them it's like a heavenly treat . It's also kept clean and tidy by the volunteers. I'm hoping to join them very soon as part of my personal wellbeing
A breath of fresh air and unspoilt greenery on the edge of Wimbledon. Great dog walking. The London Scottish golf club serves drinks in garden to nonmembers.
Beautiful and large park ideal for hiking trails and taking your dog on muddy walks. Has a good cafe with coffee and sarnies. Playground: Couple of small playground areas Restrooms: Public toilet by the cafe Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs everywhere Picnic area: Lots of open green space
Beautiful place for a walk or jog. Well-trodden paths; not too many get excessively muddy, making for a calm, easy meander around the foliage. Peaceful. Restrooms: Some at the windmill café; very muddy and the flush mechanism needs an update.
Feel like walking in the jungle very green, very quiet although many people around. Great place for taking a dog out for a walk and to get a breath of fresh air.
Only open on weekends and bank holidays. However the room was open when we got there. Kitchen closes at 4 but the cake/ice cream/beverage part open till 5 on this Tuesday. Had a lovely scone w jam and cream, along with hot chocolate. All very good and tasty. Restrooms: Clean and well maintained. Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs on the terrace, enjoying dog treats for sale at the counter.
Wonderful singing birds, wonderful walking people and kids, wonderful trees and lake, wonderful nature! I enjoyed soo much !! THANKS. TOTALLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!
Lovely country walks in the heart of Wimbledon. Café and tea rooms available near the windmill. The windmill was closed when we visited but the walks were a treat.
