Fabulous place for a day out or just an hour or so. Fee for the parking but then entry to the grounds and zoo are free. There's a great kids playground that makes me wish I was still a child myself! People take picnics or take ball games for the kids or they offer pitch and putt or crazy golf at a cost. Alternatively, take a stroll down the picturesque canal or walk over to the reservoir. Also there is a cafe here and an ice cream van.

Great place for families. Bit disappointed that the toilets next to the playground and zoo are locked out of season so if you have mobility issues or small children this will cause issues as the other toilets are quite a distance. Great zoo. Glad to see it still open. There are two play areas which are fairly new; one for babies and another for older kids. Play area has been recently updated.

Very nice park, excellent play area for younger children & older kids up to about 13. The children's zoo is very enjoyable for the kids, & the park & Hall gardens are beautiful too. There is a cost for the car park, £3 per day, £4 on weekends or bank holidays. This small cost is well worth it in my opinion. A great day out for families in a lovely setting.

We had a lovely walk a round the grounds, why we were here we decided to call into the heritage cafe. The cafe displays that it closes at 15.00hrs but they were turning people away at 14.43hrs. Why would they do this as I guess some of the profits from the sale of goods would be transferred into the up keep of Walton hall and gardens.

A very good park - plenty of room to stretch your legs, a decent playground for the kids and (usually) very clean toilets. Events held here such as the country fair aren't great to be honest and those camping overnight for it the night before seem to treat the normally very clean toilets with less respect than they probably should. Other than that, a 5* park!
