Great day out.nFree to enter the gardens, there is a parking fee.nThe play areas were crowded but the kids were able to play on what they wanted with a short wait.nA gentle walk through the gardens after lunch and a little tree climbing.nWe found a small theatre area, and the girls put on an improvised short play for us.nWe ended the day playing 18 hole Alice in Wonderland mini-golf £25 for 2 adults and 3 children before enjoying a coffee/tea in the cafe.
Just a lovely afternoon. Parking for a car was cheap, and free entry for the kid's park. Didn't go see the peacockstoo late, but little lake had plenty of wildlife and lovely flowers to see.
A lovely family day out! Entry is free, only cost is the parking £3.50 for the whole day on a weekday. There's an extensive playground with multiple sections for different ages, a small zoo with alpacas that the kids loved and a lovely park to walk around including a lake with carp and turtles, and a greenhouse with enormous carp. There's a cafe with indoor/outdoor seating offering lunch items and cakes where we had great sandwiches.
This was a really nice find tucked away.nn- Lots of parking,n- little children’s animal zoo,n- good for walks,n- mini golfn- cafen- plenty of toiletsn- adventure jungle like go ape for £15 eachnnThe cafe even does Gluten Free cakes and sandwiches which I’m looking forward to trying on my next visit.
Really nice little zoo, loved seeing the animals, especially the golden pheasants and baby peacocks. Kids really enjoyed the visit - we will definitely come back again soon
