This is a great little place for anyone who wants a scenic walk and for kids of all ages. We went on a Monday afternoon with our 5 month old and we had a great time. There is lots to do for kids including a big play area and the zoo is a nice touch to the Walton estate. They had more farm animals like roosters, rabbits, sheep and donkeys but they also had a few alpaca’s which were the high light. Our baby loved to see and hear all the animals. The gardens are lovely filled with loads of wildlife and beautiful flowers. The squirrels all came out when food was put out for them and were a joy to watch. The Heritage Cafe had great food and bakes which were reasonably priced. Overall it’s not too big and we spent just over 3 hours here. They also had adventure golf outside which is pram friendly and a fun thing to do for the whole family but this cost extra £6 for adults and £5 for kids They had a lot of easy accessible toilet and baby changing facilities available all around the estate which was a plus for us. These gardens and halls were dog friendly too. Car parking was easy and only cost £3 which nowadays is a rare feature. All in all I’d definitely recommend this to everyone to come and experience, it makes a nice little fun day out for all.
First time here, and it is beautiful. Fantastic children's play are and little zoo. Also, wonderful garden walks cafe everything you want and need. And it's free just pay the car park 3.00 weekdays. You don't have to have children to enjoy this place a beautiful sensory garden to really chill out in.
This is a very beautiful park and Zoo, with loads of activities for Children, like Slides, Swings, Rides and more. The Zoo is a great sight to behold. Plan your visit today.
Been visiting here for years and always enjoy a walk around the gardens and animal farm. Love attending the food feativals here, too. Quiet during the week and easy to park. Great for families, couples or budding photographers. Friendly staff and an enjoyable experience. Will be back again soon.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

Great park with lots to do and see. Love the zoo area with alpacas ,pigs and lots of small animals .Peacocks freely roaming around showing off their plumage. There is a high wire area for ten year olds and upwards .A paid car park is available . Cafe available if you don't take your own picnic. Large play area for children of various ages. All in all one of the best parks to visit.

A great place to spend whole day, perfect for children, no entry fee, loads of parking spacesVisited onWeekend
£3 parking no entrance fee. Toilets available next to the mini animal park and near the exit. Ice cream van and heritage cafe available with refreshments. The cafe is open until 5 pm, but the park is open until 8 pm. The gardens have a large greenhouse for viewings where beautiful indoor plants are kept and a beautiful fish pond. The gardens have a larger fish pond with large fish and turtles and beautiful plants all around.
Good place to go with the family. Lots for children to do, although some bits are payable. Greenhouse is very pleasant. The mini zoo is looking a little tired now but worth a visit. Courtyard Cafe was very efficient. The great thing about this place is it has no entry fee, only pay for parking.
