Lovely pub behind south of London Bridge Station. Came here for Sunday Lunch after watching the London Marathon. Ate upstairs, as downstairs and the lovely beer garden were busy. Roast beef with braised beef cheek was amazing! Really generous portions and beautifully cooked. The staff were great. Only cask ales on at the time were Youngs Bitter and Youngs Special, but nevertheless a very good experience.
Cracking pub off the main road through London Bridge. Been around here for years and hasn't changed much in character or quality. Still has great beers, atmosphere and food. There's also a sneaky courtyard round the back for friendly weather alfresco drinks.
Stopped by Bunch of Grapes for a spot of lunch after a long walk. We had the beef and katsu chicken burgers. Both were delicious and served with plenty of french fries. Staff were super friendly too.
It is a wonderful traditional pub. It has a great location between Harrods and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. I have had dinner there twice. The Steak and Ale meat pie, and the Fish and Chips--both were excellent. If you are looking for a place to meet up or be a part of a hitting the sights in that part of London, I would recommend making a stop there.
Good food and friendly staff however the state of the women's toilet was the worse I've ever come across.
Lovely little pub we found later on a Saturday evening. Reasonably priced but the service was a little off. Bar staff were bland with zero enthusiasm and then they kept serving so we get another drink at around 11:40….then the bouncer came over at 11:50 to say we had to leave as they were closing? Seemed odd they’d serve up until the minute they close.
Lovely to revisit a pub I've not been to since before Covid. Fairly busy on a Sunday afternoon, but not crowded. Great staff doing everything right and customers who were happy to casually chat with each other - and that, in my opinion, is the mark of somewhere special.
Cracking good pub for meet up b4 football. #weallfollowtheboro Friendly staff & good atmosphere
Great pub opposite Borough Market. We got there late on Wednesday evening, really busy. Lots of quirky tables and niches. Last orders 11.00 pm which was a shame. Staff really friendly. We liked this pub, we will return.
One of the best Sunday roasts ever! The service was great, the food excellent and it was very good value. Chicken roast with all the trimmings highly recommended!
