A special place really. Hideaway in the City.
One of most unique drinking establishments in City. One of my favourites. Great beers. Superb sandwiches too. Nothing not to like. Highly recommend. Always on my to do list.
Small but charming historic pub tucked away in the centre of the city. A good range of beers on tap and the service was friendly and accomodating. The atmosphere in the upstairs bar was great, really nice not to have to constantly listen to potentially suspect music all the time.
So there’s a dress code? Pity that the dress-alikes in skinny blue suits with big mouths don’t get asked to leave, like the quiet drinkers in trade uniform.
