Having recently experienced a public restroom that required payment, my impressions were far from favorable. The inconvenience of having to pay just to access basic facilities left me with mixed feelings.nnUpon entering, the condition of the bathroom was disappointing. It was evident that cleanliness and maintenance were not prioritized. The lack of hygiene detracted from the overall experience, making the imposed fee feel even more unjustified.nnThe restroom's infrastructure was in dire need of attention. Broken fixtures, malfunctioning taps, and unpleasant odors painted a grim picture of neglect. One would expect that a paid service would at least ensure a basic level of cleanliness and functionality.nnIn essence, the combination of a fee for entry and subpar conditions created a frustrating encounter. While the concept of charging for restroom use may have its merits in maintaining facilities, the execution fell short. A paid bathroom experience should ideally offer cleanliness, hygiene, and a well-maintained environment – unfortunately, this particular instance missed the mark.nnPs: The Buses are mostly late, cancelled or leave to early so don't expect much from the bus department either.
FOR PAY TO USE TOILETS, THEY ARE DISGUSTING, SMELLY AND NOT MAINTAINED.nYou have to pay 20p to use the toilets, this would not be a problem if they were kept clean, and maintained.nFor over a year, now only one half of them have been open. The half that has been open has had one broken toilet, & one sink broke, you struggle to operate the flush so consequently the 3 that do work are full of paper. There has been one of the disabled toilets out of order for the best part of 3 month. When it rains the roof often leaks in several places. This bus station belongs to Arriva, & it shows in the upkeep of it, a bit like the level of service from the busses.
It's a modern bus station.nThere's a help desk inside the travel office, the staff are reasonably helpful.nThere's a Greg's Caffè with seating and a takeaway section too.nRecently some shops have been added. They appear to be reasonably priced too!
Dirty best describes this place. Also, it’s 20p to use the loo with no card option and no security office to ask for assistance, be it the disabled toilets or bus routes. Awful place and in dire need of an update
Bus services are spotty, drivers will often times not turn up when a bus is waiting at a stand with people waiting by.nnThe announcements are unintelligible because of the reverberation of the roof, and are too loud at the start making you jump every time they’re made.nnBus times on the ticker don’t line up with the ones said in the app, often times not letting you know there has been a delay. And trust me, there’ll be a lot of them.nnThe saving grace is that the place is clean, complete with a Greggs and WHSmiths. There’s ample seating. The toilets are paid which is a shame for people who don’t carry cash, but it’s better than nothing.
