I have popped in here a few times for their meal deal and some ad-hoc shopping and it lives up to the Waitrose reputation. The meal deals are that little bit nicer than Boots, Coop, Tesco etc and the quality of all their own brand products is always excellent.
I don’t often come to Waitrose. However, yesterday evening I had wonderful customer service from a girl with brown hair stacking the shelves who I believe is called Sophie. She helped me find the items I couldn’t find, and was such a friendly, warm person to chat to. Really went above and beyond with her help!
I had a wonderful experience at wokingham Waitrose today. The shop floor was very tidy, which made choosing products clear and easy, and every staff member wore warm, welcoming expressions. I’d especially like to praise the lady at the till she said she’s from Hong Kong — her smile and energy truly made my day. She kindly reminded me to open the app to select a voucher, helping me save £1 and pick up a little treat. Thank you for the excellent service!nnJane
As someone in late 30s who regularly buys alcohol etc without issue from your store, to be abruptly asked for ID for a deep heat type gel of all things used for bad back, to then have it removed without further discussion was pretty poor.. As the only main supermarket in the area not a great experience.
Rude and distrusting of deliveroo staff. Assume they will steal the groceries and force them to tick orders off before handing it over. Really quite awful to be on the receiving end of such accusations without any substantiated evidence of wrongdoing. You don’t make customers pay for groceries before they place it in their trolley so why treat contractors you work with in a different manner?
