No food in my house so we descended to this bar. Warm and snug, inviting and friendly staff. Excellent pub grub, hearty and filling. Top marks.

A cosy pub just round the corner of the town centre. I stayed here for two nights and everything was just as needed. Little, clean, nice bedroom with a clean and sufficient bathroom. Nice staff, always smiling and willing to help. And the town is just beautiful! Hope to come back again!

A pleasant surprise! Looks like ordinary old-fashioned pub but good value and varied menu. Food and beer both very good and staff friendly and helpful.

The worst food I have ever had they cannot even cook chips! The manager/owner is abrasive and thinks his pub is above all others. He stood arguing for more time than is respectable. The barmaid was reasonable and eventually gave us our money back after the landlord said he was 'bored' with the conversation (rudest man alive) If this was the last place on earth, I would rather starve. Never visit this pub.

Friendly an good breakfast. Hotel room was tiny but clean and comfortable. Location was inconvenient as to its proximity to an extractor fan which interrupted our sleep. Still it was a good stay overall. Very close to town centre.
