Excellent food, portion size perfect. We had the fish and chips......highly recommended. Waiter staff very good. Drinks menu is a but pricey but hey your in the Cotswolds what do you expect. Definitely coming back

Feel bad doing this review but we did let the staff know at the time. Having booked a family meal for Saturday lunchtime the Rugby went on at full blast. It drowned our conversation. Clearly we are not rugby fans. We asked if it could be turned down, it could not. The waitress moved us but we were still bombarded by the speakers. My objection is that had there been a board outside advertising the rugby, or we had been told when the booking was made we would not have attended. As it was we cancelled our order and went elsewhere. A little thought could have avoided this.

Used to be a tough and ready drinking pub - now a really nicely done civilised place with comfy chairs and a good drink selection - lovely in summer or winter

A really nice pub. Bar staff were friendly. Cosy and quiet atmosphere but I went on a Mon eve. I imagine Thurs to Sun they are busy.

Land lord and staff were very friendly. Really good place to visit. Watched the rugby in a great atmosphere
