Last went to Marks Kitchen a few years ago and the food was reasonable. It had gone down hill when I visited in late January 2018. Firstly, I carry little cash on me and the person serving instructed me to go to a cash machine at night in the cold driving rain. As we know the law changed about accepting debit cards, but the owner was only interested in cash. For goodness sake this is the 21st century. The House Special Fried Rice Mixed Meat with Sauce had rice which was overcooked and more like pudding rice which soaked up all the gravy. There was too much salt and gluten , plus there was fat on the meat. The Sweet & Sour Chicken "Hong Kong Style" container had more sauce in it than the chicken pieces which were small . I would not recommend this take away at all.

The food was unbelievably dry. Being a US citizen, I've obviously had Chinese food from MANY places before, and all I can say is that this was a serious let down. I feel like this needs serious improvements to the cuisine because there's no doubt it was bad. It just needs... sauce? To not be dry? I don't even know how to describe it. Just go dine in somewhere.
