First class food experience from a great restaurant chain. I've ate at this venue many times when in Newport, as you are not only guaranteed a warm welcome from the staff, but the food is clean, filling and very good value for money. I've never had to wait to get seated in the past, and this visit was no different either at Wagamama in Newport. I was greeted with a smile, shown to the table with my colleagues and allowed time to decide on what to eat. Once the order was placed there wasn't a long wait before the food arrived at the table. Once finished, it was washed down with a green tea and the bill was paid from the comfort of our table, using the online system. The online system for paying allows you to eat and pay the bill at your leisure in a very convenient way. Highly recommended!
I was greeted by a very polite young man, whose explanation of how the food comes out of the kitchen, and the different options on how to pay, automatically put me at ease. The Duck Gyoza!! OMG! soooo good I ate them so fast I forgot to take a photo... The Chicken Katsu Curry.... what can I say but a delicious bite throughout! I got mine Spicy, recommended for spicy lovers The Mint Tea, ohhhh so refreshing! And finally the Smoked Chocolate Caramel Cake....... I almost was late to work, up the road as I took my time eating it and forgot about work for a moment.... If I could give more than 5 I would.
Lovely staff, very accommodating of the toddler with us.Great vegan selection, really enjoyed my teriyaki vegan 'chicken’ ramen. The portion sizes are large and nice atmosphere. Overall lovely place to eat, would go back.
I had the Vegan Teriyaki ramen and it was delicious. It was spicy as well and and seitan was really well cooked. The service was so quick and nice. For dessert I had the Coconut ice cream and I got three scoops of it. It felt like a bit too much towards the end, but was delicious.
Been to wagamama every weekend for the last month and from the first time to today it's been the same excellent food and friendly polite staff. It is my daughter's favourite place to eat out and we have been made so welcome every time we go. The food is just amazing .A huge shout out goes to the young girl I think her name is Al who from the second we arrive to when we leave makes sure we have everything we need and is so helpful with the menu and is so polite and nothing is too much trouble so a big thank you to her. We will enjoy many more times at this restaurant cant wait to go again

Really good service, and really good food. Definitely recommend Kid-friendliness: The are really friendly to kids, there Is also a work/activity sheet available for no extra cost, it includes word-search, coloring, anagrams, and games.
I am 2 months late to drop a review.. but I had to do it.. for the lovely staff and delicious food.. We had a lovely staff Lotti serve our table. She was kind and very friendly.. Wagamama is one of my and my friends fav place. I must say, the one in Newport didn’t let us down. It was quite busy however, the staff were prompt.
Me and my friend Ellie came in and we were greeted by Jen and then throughout the night we were served by both mark and Jen and they were amazing. Mark was very funny and Jen was very sweet. Happily go back there again xx
Great service and amazing food. Staff are super friendly and helpful and will definitely be coming back again soon!
