On this visit we went specifically for the cafe. There is a good selection of meal choices and light snacks and if you are still hungry after that a good selection of cakes too. The meals are plentiful we came away very full and the cost is reasonable for what you get. We are not gluten free, however I did see a board with some gluten free meal choices, so very handy that they provide this option too We have visited the garden centre before and the is plenty to see and buy. A huge range of plants as well as products to maintain your garden, cards, gifts and a section of locally produced foods, including a butchers and a cheese counter. Definitely a nice day out.
Came here for Sunday lunch off the cuff. Food was great and the service was very good. Its a busy little place but you won't be disappointed. My only gripe was that the restaurant was a little drafty with the door left open to serve the outside customers. That said, it is a lovely place to have a wander before/ around after food too. We'll be back, well done Morris's
Absolutely delicious roast beef dinner today, followed by treacle tart and custard! Fabulous customer service and friendly staff. Well worth a visit! Will definitely be back! Even the mother in law enjoyed it!
Gorgeous Sunday lunch here. My favourite place to come on a Sunday. Large portion sizes and the cakes are super yummy too! Would definatly recommend especially if you like a relaxed environment with home cooked style food. I love it here
The best Sunday lunch in the northern hemisphere! Beef reared on the farm, Yorkshire pudding bigger than your head and quality veg. Kate and the team are really welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The farm shop is packed with meats and veg sourced locally, and really good value. Well worth a visit.
We have had food here a few times over the last couple of months and its always been good... Today 9.12.19 we took my parents and oh my !! The food was fabulous ! The steak and ale pie was delicious, so much meat and worthy of a top name restaurant! We finished with a cake ....they dont skimp on portion size and was delightful! 5 stars well earnt!
One of our favourite places for lunch. Always lovely home cooked tasty food, generous portions. Never get as far as to taste the amazing cakes. Staff very friendly.
Had the Fish and chips best I've had in a cafe. Daughter had falaval Burger with chips and Salad. Both dishes were worth the price ask. Service was good and lovely seating area. Would recommend.
Great garden centre but cafe is a bit hit and miss. Bit odd putting mayo and ketchup in glass candle holder's??? Also mixed up our orders. But food good. Could maybe wipe down outside tables a bit more often.
