This Vue cinema offers the expected high-quality experience, with impressive laser projection and immersive Dolby Atmos sound that fills the screen. We watched Sonic 3 in screen 5; being seated a little too close to the front meant the pre-show adverts and trailers were excessively loud, but the film's audio was perfectly balanced, and the picture quality was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.nMy only complaint is that the house lights were turned on during a post-credit scene, which significantly washed out the screen.nOver all a good cinema experience for us.nnIt's also located on the riverside which is perfect for a meal before after the show.
Came to see beetlejuice 2, friendly staff, standard foods selection, reasonable price. Wheelchair access available, screen 10 has wheelchair spaces at the back, so your not craning your neck looking up at the screen.nOnly gripe is the lift, feels old, unserviced and shabby. As a wheelchair user, it feels as if it's an after thought for access and could do with brightening up and servicing.
The people made me feel so insecure making me feel like I wasn’t as old as I was. They expect me to whip out my passport to watch a film plus the seat arnt even that comfy. Sorry to anyone else that has to go through this. We are sat outside the cinima after we bought the tickets and not being let in.
Visited today 13/3/25 The cinema was filthy. The seats are so old, this place is in desperate need for a refurb. Nice staff though after the movie started with no sound. Issue was resolved swiftly.
Far too many stairs for an elderly person. There is a lift but not very convenient.nVIP seats in a very poor state, scuffed and damaged.nSound was literally deafening and physically hurt my ears.nCompared with the excellent Showcase cinema, it was a poor experience.
