Super friendly staff, have a little waiting area when your screen isn’t quite ready. All super clean and all seats are recliners. Very comfortable and great value for money.
Nice reclining chairs and nice selection of snacks available. Great place to watch a movie. But next time I'll take advantage of the accessibility viewings for my two children who have particular needs.
This is my favorite cinema in the area. The recliner seats are incredibly comfortable, and I always find convenient showtimes. The only downside is the parking lot's closing time—it sometimes closes before the last movie ends, as I was warned, so I have to park a bit farther away. While the service is excellent and the staff are very friendly, the restroom does have an unpleasant smell and is always like that, but it's to be expected with public restrooms. Despite that, everything else is great. The rooms are always spotless and well-maintained.
I visited the Vue Cinema in Newcastle-Under-Lyme on Sunday 29th September 2024. The performance of Matthew Bourne's Edward Scissorhands we watched was absolutely fabulous and it was really comfortable with the reclining seats and loads of leg room, it was pure luxury.nnHowever, we did find the service at the Refreshment Counters, disorganised and extremely slow and the coffee was of a very poor quality.
We arrived to watch a 9:45pm viewing. We started filling a tub for the pick and mix, after selecting a couple of things, the member of staff told us we couldn’t select from half of the sweets because she had already weighed them to close down she was stood next to us as we started picking and didn’t tell us as she watched us walk over and start. We also weren’t the last viewing and there was films starting later than ours. The lady who I presume is the manager was quite rude to us and had attitude towards us when we stood at the wrong till and wasn’t sure where to be served as they closed the other tills. Meanwhile shouted at a member of staff whilst they were weighing the sweets, meanwhile she was leant chatting to someone and could have helped assist her member of staff with our order instead of yelling at them. We purchased a LARGE tango ice blast to receive a cup filled 2/3 of the way in picture. Wasn’t very happy with the attitude from the lady and to receive unfilled Products, we all know how expensive cinemas can be. We understand it was late and they would start their close down but rather than warn us before picking the sweets, we were told half way through. Received half a product and rude attitude from the manager. Not very happy :/
