Not a great experience. The popcorn was stale, the tango ice blast was a strange texture and tasted like chemicals. And more shockingly the movie the new black panther wouldn’t work… we sat in the theatre for about 30mints past when the adverts would normally finish in the dark until a staff member told us they couldn’t fix it. They didn’t give us our money back but they gave us a voucher that we don’t even want to use…. Not great!
I'd give no stars if I could, first time here today and won't be returning again. 25minutes to get served for snacks and drinks only 4 in front of us. Don't get me wrong it was busy but there was 3 tills on. Placed the order 3 times and it was still wrong £44. 60 for 1 large meal Popcorn drink and a bag of sweets £14 great price tbf, but the 1 bag of sweets nachos which should of come on the meal deal then wanted to charge me an extra £5.20 for a drink to go with it. When it should of been a meal. Which I'd asked for 3 times. 2x bottle of cokes cost me £30. Staff wasn't friendly when I queried it.
I got a super saver seat which was only £5.50 something like that, I wanted to save some money because of how expensive cinema can be but I was expecting more discomfort then the usual seats but tbh after 2 hours of sitting in the seat I was still very comfy. The snacks are the more expensive items a bag of revels and some popcorn was just over £10
A very pleasant and well-laid out cinema complex with the usual different individual screens. It has the added advantages of cheap and comfortable seats and Nandos and Pizza Express in the same shopping centre Princes Quay in which it is based. Easy to park in, too.
Huge queue for food as usual in vue! Waiting 10mins for nachos, no cheese sauce ready, ordered large but to be honest I wouldn’t of bothered! Not worth the money! How hard is it to understand you should have a separate queue for tickets only!!!!!!!
We usually go to watch movies that aren't new releases so never have any problems, wish it was more comfortable like Odeon Luxe but you cannot argue with the prices the seats at least anyway.
I would just like to say me and my husband went to this cinema a couple of weeks ago and there was a young man called Adam who was absolutely fantastic he helped us so much he was exceptional staff member an all the staff was very pleasant 10/10 thank you Adam and the team
It's good, the till service needs sorting. If they are serving a family it takes them 20 mins. Otherwise it's a great cinema.
The cinema is great but Hull is the worst city I've ever visited, mainly because of the road works, ridiculous bus and cycle lanes. Its not car friendly and therefore not friendly to visitors at all. Does it have a full-time council?!
In the top two MOST uncomfortable cinema seats I have EVER sat in!! Only beaten by the cinema in Loughborough!! We paid extra for the luxury seats!! Sadly people of Hull? Ya being robbed!
