Very bad place compared to standards. It's 2024 and they still can't make proper seats. Very cold. Toilet smells very bad everytime I visit and my friends say the same.nADVICE: Take example from Leeds at least, Manchester and London quality. This place is dying.
Went into the venue 2 days before booking my tickets to take my two grandchildren and my daughter and myself to see 4DX.nnWanted to check out exactly how to book the tickets to seating areas etc wanted everything to be perfect as I hardly ever see my family.nnWent on line to the Cineworld website took several attempts to book the tickets in between each error from their website I had to wait 40 minutes for it to clear the seats I had chosen for it to refresh and update to become available again.nnEventually did it looked at the seating plan and booking four chairs together nobody to the right or the left of me large alleyway or aisle which meant I would not be sat next to anybody else because generally people can be disespectful noisy etc, so wanted to avoid this so chose four seats together which on their seating plant on their website online displayed clearly that.nnWent to the venue at Kingswood nothing like the seating plan we got sat down in the seats I had paid for there was no large aisle or alleyway to the right of us or right of us, then a family of four came and sat right next to us they were so noisy crinkling rappers eating crisps the mother had brought about 100 pounds worth of food and snacks, and for 20 minutes into the film stood up dishing out drinks food goodies etc to her family members.nnI know it is not the cinemas fault that people are disrespectful and noisy but their seating plan online clearly displayed a gap a large gap in between the next block of four seats these people were sat right next to us, no aisle or gap.nnI will include the screenshot of the Cineworld website clearly displaying gaps to the left and right of my chosen seats.nMisleading information on their website I would not have paid for these seats if I would have known it would be nothing like that in reality obviously monumental error on their website.nnI WAS going to sign up for four unlimited passes may be six and pay that monthly but not after this experience if a company is advertising is seating plan for a cinema online and when you book it and get to the venue and it's nothing like they have sold you that is misleading and then we ended up as mentioned with the bad experience of disrespectful noisy other people.nnSpoil my whole experience of watching Kung Fu Panda 4 on 4dx and this was the first time I went with my family and probably now the last.nnThe cinema industry is dying as it is at least get your information online right it's a basic seating plan and if you advertise it as having gaps to the right and left or alleyways or a large aisle on your website then please make sure it reflects the truthfulness of the actual cinema otherwise it's completely pointless even showing a seating plan.nnVery annoyed I have sent an email complaint to the head office, I did absolutely everything I could to make sure our visit to the cinema and experience was brilliant unfortunately the people that let us down was the cinema themselves by completely showing the wrong seating plan and layout of the actual cinema at Kingswood.nnIt's very basic simple information, it is not hard to get it right just to make sure the seating plan online for that cinema, is the same overwise people will not return.
Few years ago before COVID, Cineworld was expensive... Now, the pass is reasonable and they seem to put more showings on of older films, over the last year i've seen Jaws, Halloween and The Goonies. You do have to keep an eye out to catch these.nnAnd after a year of having the pass you get 25% off food... so pretty good.nnAnd the staff are ALWAYS nice.
Good multiplex cinema with plenty of parking. We paid £10 an adult ticket, apparently cheaper if you buy on-line first not confirmed. Also I think that out of all the screens there are 1 or 2 'Screen X' screens - which have a main screen in front and left and right screens in addition - so 3 screens. We watched 'The Creator' with this and it was used perhaps for about 10mins of the film. Ok, but in my opinion didn't add particularly to this film. However there is great potential!
It has been a long time since we last visited Cineworld as we have a cinema closer to home, but on Wednesday afternoon using a 2for1 Meerkat Movie code we went to Cineworld Hull to see Wicked Little Letters.nI usually book cinema tickets online prior to the screening but was unable to complete the transaction on their website on the 4 attempts that I had the previous evening.nThere’s lots of free parking which is a real bonus, but when we arrived the doors were locked and there was no sign of staff even though we were knocking for some time.nWe stood with other people in quite cold conditions until staff came to open up.nThe seats in the cinema were comfortable and the room was warm enough without being stuffy.nTwenty five minutes of very loud adverts before the actual film is very frustrating but seems to be commonplace.nWe did enjoy the film and would go back to Cineworld but would arrive much closer to the start of the actual film.
