Small screens but perfectly adequate for the size of the theatre. Friendly staff and decent snacks. Easy parking in the same building.
Cheap as chips and the staff were pleasant. The only downside was there were only three people watching the film. Myself, my friend and a lady. The film was Fisherman's Friend 2.
Love this place it's small friendly and well priced not like others where you feel like you've had your pants down for a sit down movie I would recommend it to anyone with kids
Staff pleasant easy access to seating area although seats not the most comfy I've ever sat on not much leg room either but all in all not a bad experience
Brilliant cinema. Why pay the others ridiculous prices when you can the same experience here . Back again soon and Happy New year everyone
We attended Saturday the 2nd, the popcorn was stale, next to no staff, I even cleaned the screen we were in myself and left the bags at the end of an isle, another customer ended up taking these outside. The lady who was cleaning was running around sweating profusely poked her head in and said yeah looks okay to go in - to have 2 members of staff on a busy Saturday - one on the desk and just one cleaning, just isn't good enough. The seats we were allocated were broken and leaning so far forward we ended up moving seats which then created chaos as the film began. If there were more staff perhaps the popcorn and seating could have been remedied but with the film already starting we didn't want to miss it. Further to this there is an obvious rip on the screen itself. I then emailed them 7 days ago assuring my frustrations and no one has yet got back to me. This cinema its appalling - avoid at all costs.
It can't easily compete with the other cinemas in town which have much bigger screens and more up to date features, but Reel is perfectly placed in terms of being able to get easily to it on public transport and has some great cheap deals including kids showings of recent movies. In spite of the screens being smaller the seats are well raked meaning that you can still see over taller people in front of you even though they don't have tiers. Food and drink, as is traditional at the cinema is overpriced with the exception of coffee and hot drinks but I don't think you'll find any difference at any of the other 3 cinemas in Hull, so either accept it or bring your own snacks.
The Layout of this Cinema is alright, the seats are a little bit uncomfortable to have a sit down onto and the surrond stereo sound isn't loud enough to hear some Movies that you want to watch, Good Staff service and layout of inside this building part of, Toilets are a bit poor with Taps running Water too fast as taps stop straight away not giving you enough time to wash your Hands at the Sink basins, some of the services inside this Cinema could be a bit more better
Great value for money. Quiet for us on a Sunday after 4pm. Seats a little bit hard / worn but can't fault it for the price
loved it staff were lovely and helpful front seats so nice and roomy granddaughter enjoyed movie and massive hot dog looking forward to the next visit.
