We had a lovely good quality Italian meal here tonight. Sept 2017. Reasonable prices when eating out in Barnard Castle can be expensive. My husband had the mixed grill he said it was beautifully cooked. We had tiramisu for desert - good portion. Nice atmosphere and welcoming staff. Bit Smokey from the kitchen but would still highly recommend.
First time back in Bernard Castle for a couple of years since when Vivo has opened. If you want good Italian cooking at reasonable prices and lovely staff this is the place to go. Delicious carbonara and pizzas and reasonably priced wine. What's not to like? Will definitely be back. Deserves to be more popular.

Very nice place. Real Italian cousine since the owner is 100% Italian. The personal is very friendly and well prepared. I was in barnard castle for 3 weeks and I went there at least 2 times a week. Let's try and you wont regret it

What a fantastic Italian, our first visit tonight... The vegetarian risotto was best I've ever had and I eat out very frequently... Friendly staff brilliant prices.. Highly recommend it!
Pizza was great. Disappointed soft drink was flat! Hot pudding was not hot. Customer service could of been better.
Good food exceptionally well priced. The surroundings aren't particularly salubrious but everything is clean and tidy. Regularly eat here.
Great food, great atmosphere. New owners have done well...
