Tried here this evening with my work colleague ordered chicken chowmein, a bag of chips and some vegetables spring rolls.. chowmein I asked for with some oyster sauce very fair sized portion was impressed, the chips was a very large bag from what I'm used to getting back home, and the spring rolls I got 12 of those.. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal the chowmein was outstanding, chips really nice aswell & as for the spring rolls they tasted outstanding aswell cost for the meal £13 quid pretty reasonable priced to be honest and a quick service aswell, so thanks! I'll make sure I return next time I'm down for some scran! Vegetarian options: Yes Parking: Street Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Food freshly cooked to order so need to order ahead or wait a few minutes 20. Food is delicious with distinctive ingredients easily identified. Portions are substantial and I haven't managed to finish a Special Fried Rice in one go! Chicken pieces are very well cooked from substantial breast meat. Beef also v good. Curry sauce is one of best I have had from a take away, flavoursome, not gloopy or too thick through over warming and drying out. Chips are superbly cooked with firm exterior but fluffy inside. One of the best take always I have used and will be doing so again on a regular basis.
We're touring at home, rather than abroad this year, and eating takeaway instead of eating out. This was the best so far. Roast duck in black bean sauce with pepper for me. A generous portion, with plenty of meat, chunks of tasty vegetable, with a decent zing to it, for a relatively modest price. Sets a high standard.
A group of 10 looking to place an order, called to check vegan options with the restaurant and greeted by a very rude lady who refused to check with the chef whether the options were definitely vegan. Was told “If you have any doubt don’t order” and “darling I’m too busy to check, I’m not arguing with you”. In the time she spent being rude and argumentative she could have checked with the chef but was told she wasn’t able to do this as “he didn’t speak English”. Would not recommend this take away.
Tasty, fresh, big portions. Not greasy like other Chinese takeaways. Always come away pleased with my choice. Don't take card though and the décor hasn't been updated for decades.
Bit expensive for what it is. Friendly staff, very quick, but disappointing food. Had frozen vegetables in and there wasn't a hint of oyster sauce in the 'duck and oyster sauce', it was like water and cornstarch. On the plus side, brother's sweet and sour sauce was nice.
