Fantastic meal in lovely environment. The staff were attentive and took time to speak to us. Great food at a good price. Don’t live locally but if we’re ever back in the area will definitely return.Food: 5/5
We had a really first class meal here. The curries were tasty with a good portion of meat, not just lots of sauce. Our naan and rice were perfect. The midweek offer menu is good value and the main menu curry we had was different class. Lovely friendly waiting staff too.

One of two Indian restaurants in Barnard's Castle. We didn't visit the other one but we were very happy with our choice. The welcome was friendly, the service prompt and the dishes from the varied menu were very tasty. Once again the toilets were on an upper floor so not for those who don't do stairs. Ample parking on the street.
The food here gets better and better. The town is lucky enough to have two fantastic curry houses, each individual enough to make space for the other. The methi saag and tandoori chicken really are gorgeous. The food is rich, very well spiced with traditional bold flavours. The service is always friendly and polite. We always get a takeaway and it never disappoints. Parking: Park on the road for free or 50m away on the cobbled parking area above the market cross roundabout
Turned away from a completely empty restaurant at 18.30hrs on a Saturday night after being told they had no tables available. Clearly I can’t review the food but customer service and atmosphere is appalling I can only suggest you try the other Indian restaurant in the town they value the custom of local people.Service: 1/5
Excellent food, fantastic service and friendly staff. Well reccomended. Kid-friendliness: Made a fuss with children, making them part of the experience.
