Great place! I don't know a lot about antiques especially furniture but you can tell there are some quality pieces here. If you are looking for a chair, this is the place for you, there must be hundreds to choose from! Loved how some of the numerous rooms are staged. Managed to pick up a great chair for the office and some rare books. The owner was very friendly and welcoming Definitely will be back again soon
My first experience of this shop was sheer childish excitement. I visited with my partner with a view to getting a nice lamp and predictably for me walked out with a pair of 1970s Goodman Mezzo SL speakers in the best condition I've ever come across. The original wood cabinets are almost totally unmarked, with very mild wear on the underside and one missing label on on3 of the rear binding posts. The grille is in near mint condition which is a total rarity for speakers which are nearly 50 years old. They were priced very fairly and the chaps even gave them a nice bit of polish before I left, then helped me carry them to the car. They assured me that, as they couldn't test them themselves, I would be entitled to a full refund if they were faulty. After crossing my fingers they would work, I got some banana plug adapters this afternoon and, cranking them up to 75% volume, they are an absolute dream. I've got Horishi Yoshimura's "Green" on and the depth and clarity are sublime. We are excited to collect the lamp on Monday, which the folks at Vintage and Retro kindly offered to service as part of the again, very fair price of sale. Thank you guys, you've got a new pair of regulars!
First time visiting. Good place to explore. Huge location and feels like you are stepping back in time. Friendly staff. Enjoyed spending 30-45 minutes walking around this true Aladdin's cave .

Fantastic service! Bought some beautiful ‘Arts & Crafts’ period oak chairs. Charlie was fantastic - he sanded them down and recovered them for me. I love them. Big thanks to Charlie for all the work. Would definitely recommend.
Looking for quality vintage or retro furniture, then this place is brilliant. It's a real Alladin's cave. Room after room of the old, vintage retro, arts and crafts or just the weired furniture. It's not cheap but the quality is far better than the rubbish you can buy today. Wish I'd found it earlier, icould spend a fortune in here and know it'll kast another 40 50 years
Huge amount of stock. Ask for something and the staff will lead you through the various rooms to items that meet the description. But more fun to browse
