This is a real gem of a place. I was really impressed with how tidy the layout was. Customers can easily identify the wide selection of reclaimed timber available. The items on display built by the volunteers/staff are great quality and the people working there are friendly and really helpful. Highly recommend a visit.
It's a great idea being able to reuse wood that otherwise ends up in landfill. The staff are really knowledgeable and are very willing to help. The choice of both softwood and hardwood is just right.
What a fantastic morning St Conval's Primary spent at Glasgow Wood. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The children were delighted with the flower boxes they made - and even more so when they realised they could bring them back to school. The experience they gained using the tools was amazing! They loved every second of the session. Thank you again for inviting the children.
Phoned up this morning after seeing an advert for chairs on gumtree. The woman I spoke to on the phone Iona? was incredibly friendly and helpful and organised for them to be delivered this afternoon for an absolute bargain price. Amazing! Thanks for your service guys, keep up the great work!
Dangerous van driver, serious should not be behind the wheel of a vehicle
I've bought many a plank from this friendly bunch. A great selection of rough lumber and finished items can be found and you can take it away for next to nothing! Only your imagination can hold you back, for the possible uses of the wood stocked here are limitless. Oak whiskey casks are delivered regularly and they go fast - do go and have a look!
Such a superb place. Very very helpful. Well stocked. Good prices. Very satisfying to get some second hand wood. Great advice and friendly knowledgeable staff. Fair buzzing after my first visit! Thanks!
Great place to buy recycled wood and scaffolding
Brilliant and reasonably priced products. The Staff are superb and go out of their way to help you. I bought a table off them and have been going back regularly since. Cheaper than the high street, and by shopping here you're helping this great social enterprise.
Awesome place. Brilliant offcuts available for great affordable prices and the odd artisan piece of furniture and gifts expertly crafted. Check it out if you like wood !! :
