I would have made a purchase in this shop today but was put off by the staff member following my sister and I around.
The staff are really rude, I would not recommend this shop especially if you can buy the item elsewhere.
Fantastic selection of quirky and tasteful products, spent longer in here than I anticipated because of it. Left with some nice gifts for a fair price. The haughty, monk-like character behind the till really needs to get over himself, his service was decidedly 'Edinburgh'.
I visited the shop over Christmas looking for advice and direction on a furniture purchase. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and I was really happy with the final sale. There was no pushiness and I never felt that I was obliged to go with any suggestions - it even took two visits for the final decision to be made! Professional and well informed - thank you! I'll be back for more.
An amazing treasure trove of jewellery, beautiful furniture and all those lovely home accessories like unique art and photographs for your wall, lovely candles and cushions... I want it all. In a deceptively large space, housing SO many items, but not over-cluttered. I challenge you to go in here and not find something that will fit your budget and your taste or the perfect gift for someone else. Can't believe I haven't been in sooner. I was in at closing time 5.30pm but the staff were happy to tell me they'd still be open for another 10-15 mins and not to rush. Every staff member I passed was courteous and stopped to ask if there was anything they could do.
So beyond happy with my online purchase! I ordered a Frida Kahlo cushion and not only did it arrive super quickly, the quality is amazing. Would 100% recommend this shop!
The rudest staff I have ever encountered. We were Christmas shopping, I whispered to my friend that a trinket seemed over priced . A staff member then came up and directed us to the "cheaper corner, you might prefer the mass produced items if you can't afford the handmade ones". I was completly shocked at how rude the woman was, especially seeing as she'd just eavesdropped on a private hushed conversation - and I'd considered going back for something later that my friend had shown interest in. Of course we didn't want to cause a scene so we left, but when I realised she'd followed us out to the hallway I was utterly sickened! Never been treated so rudely in my life, and of course I'll be sure to tell all my friends to steer clear! I recommend you do to.
Lovely shop! Great selection of interesting and unusual home decor clothes and jewelry at great prices, topped of with great service. The store's buyer has done and excellent job curating the merchandise. Well done!
Experienced shockingly bad customer service today with the sales assistant answering my initial query with a very abrupt, and quite frankly rude, response, before physically turning away from me, clearly letting me know she didn't want to help. I did have further questions, but was totally put off and ended up walking out. My wife and I will not be back.
This review is for the shop in Great Western Road at the Kelvinbridge Underground Station! Absolutely appalling customer service! To the lady at at the till today... You've absolutely zero manners and you should be ashamed of yourself! Would never go back to shop there!
