Huge selection of sofas to choose from - including plenty that aren't grey and stocked in just about every store. Great to see so many different styles. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, no pressure at all.
Huge choice of sofa’s and selection of furniture. Fantastic range of rugs and carpets. Recently purchased a suite TV unit and Rug. Was guided through our choices by Mary, so nice and extremely helpful nothing was a bother to her. Our first visit was simply to browse and measure again helped by Mary. Would highly recommend a visit if looking for ideas.
We had a Parker Knoll recliner which developed a fault and we reported it to Forrest Furniture in South Street. Yesterday we had the repair man at our home and he stripped the chair down and replaced the damaged armrest. The workmanship and skill was exemplary. A true professional. We are delighted with the repair and having bought lots of furniture over the years from Forrest Furniture I have no hesitation in recommending them as an excellent company who put the customer first before the profit margin.
Fantastic experience. This is another example of why we have chosen Forrest repeatedly for our furniture needs. We love the bedroom furniture. Forrest have their own delivery service and the two guys who delivered our furniture were superb. An outstanding service from pre-sale, point of sale through to delivery.

Went shopping during the morning, shop was nice and quiet. Staff were helpful and not pushy.
I purchased leather sofa 18 months ago and has stretched and lost appearance, I also bought coffee table and side tables, with concrete effect, thinking it was durable but is only covered with foil, and when wrapping g gift on table sellotape has ripped of foil on table and completely damaged it. I have always bought furniture from forrest due to quality . Customer services answer was 'furniture is over a year old and it is my fault for sellotape , I think a coffee table should be durable at 249.00. Could have got better quality at IKEA.
Lots to choose from. Staff don't bother you when looking round, which I really appreciate. However, when assistance is required, the staff member who helped me and my mum was friendly, helpful and engaged well with my mum. The only down side is the wait but hey ho that's the way of the world.
Under no circumstances buy a suite from this shower. Forrest Furnishings/Sterling. I ordered a suite in July this year and it was delivered on the 19th October. After only being in my home for not even a fortnight I had reported problems with it. They sent out a technician from Emmiera who Inspected this suite, he was shown the fabric issues and heard the constant popping from the suite when you sat down and got back up again. But sent a report back to Forrest to say that our claim is invalid and there was nothing wrong with it. It has been constant emails back and forth and we are getting nowhere even though I have taken advice from my local citizens advice and they said under the consumer right act 2015 if we think the suite is lacking quality and not fit for purchase then we have rights to send the goods back. Honestly do not touch this company.
Some nice furniture, but overall feels dated and not very inspiring
